Sometimes, bridges are more than functional. Some are spectacular. Others are historic. Occasionally they are marvels of engineering. Then again, sometimes a bridges are just bridges. Function, with our form or notable historical context.

When I visit a bridge that, for one reason or another, garnered some celebrity, I try to remember to attach the “bridge” tag to the journal entry that contains a description of it. However, don’t count on me always remembering to do that. Occasionally, or possibly more than occasionally, that might be a bridge too far.

But, what’s done is done in that regard. I could go back and try to find those posts missing the appropriate tag. But I probably won’t.  It’s all water under the, well, you know.
