Piraeus

Piraeus is the port city of Athens. It’s also where I caught a ferry to the island of Hydra and later picked up and dropped off a rental car for a driving trip around the Peloponnese peninsula on my first (and, at the time of writing of this category description) so far only trip to Greece.

Despite being a working port town, Piraeus has some nice sections that are well worth a visit. So, I visited.
