I still don’t know if the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain. It’s entirely possible that line from “My Fair Lady” was an example of the public dissemination of misinformation. With the advent of social media such disinformation has, arguably, become even more prevalent than it was when the film My Fair Lady came out. Bah. Humbug.
