Taormina

Taormina is an absolutely stunning town in Sicily, Italy. I didn’t know that when I planned my Sicilian trip. Otherwise, I would have booked more time in the town.

Just to clarify the above, I knew that Taormina is in Sicily. I just dint know how spectacular it is.

The old town sits atop a hill looking out over the sea. The old buildings on narrow streets are quaint and make for lovely strolls.

There is also a section at the base of the hill. That’s where I stayed. My hotel had a balcony overlooking the beautiful, rugged coast. It was amazing. I spent considerable time looking it over rather than overlooking it.
