Like most of the towns and cities I visited in Sicily, Ragusa is beautiful. It has a new(er) and old town, separated by a fair hike and a lot of steps. A road does connect the two, but I enjoy walking and dislike driving. So I walked it.
I stayed in the newer part of Ragusa, left my rental car at the hotel, and walked everywhere. That worked out well because the old town is not particularly car-friendly, which is part of its charm. Then again, I’m not car-friendly either, but I’m not charming. You never can tell about these things.
