Trips Table of Contents
I have not come close to breaking any world (pun intended) records for the number of places visited, but here’s a list of all the tourism trips I’ve taken since starting this travel journal in May 2019. I say “tourism trips” because I generally don’t write about trips I take to visit family and friends (mostly in North America).
And I’m still going. (Unless I’m not and haven’t updated this page yet either because I forgot to or because I’m no longer able to.)

July-August 2019 trip to London, York, Edinburgh, and Glasgow

For the first trip in documented in this journal, I explored two cities in England and two in Scotland during this U.K. trip.
May 2019 trip to Vienna. Prague, Regensburg, and Munich

Four cities in three countries (Austria, Czechia, and Germany) made for a delightfully interesting trip. I should probably return to see more of those countries.
October-November 2019 trip to: Madrid, Toledo, Seville, Cordoba. and Granada

I’d been to Madrid before, but never south-western Spain. It was very charming and I didn’t get nearly enough of it on this trip.
January- February 2020 trip: Auckland. Dunedin, Queenstown. Christchurch, and Wellington

I fell in love with New Zealand on this, my first trip there. I visited cities on both the North and South Islands. Marvelous.
August 2021 trip: Vancouver and Victoria

With travel restrictions still in place, I stayed in my own country, Canada, for my first COVID trip and visited the beautiful British Columbia cities of Vancouver and Victoria.
April 2022 trip: Venice, Padua, Genoa, Ligurian Coast, Milan, Bergamo

An adventure circling around cities and towns in southern Italy.
This was my first trip in Asia since started this journal. The journey took me to three countries (Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan) and five cities in those countries (Singapore; Bangkok and Chang Mai, Thailand; Taipei and Tainan, Taiwan).
I’ve never been to mainland China and I don’t know if I ever will go. It might bar me for referring to Taiwan as a country here.
