Lisbon

If you’re going to go to Portugal, how could not go to Lisbon (Lisboa). That was a trick question. You could do it by avoiding that city. But why would you?

I mean, really. Lisbon is a beautiful city by the sea. There are hills from which to view vistas, charming streets and neighbourhoods, and lots of culture. Importantly, there are lots of places to buy pastel de nata.

Besides, there’s the plane from Casablanca, and the clipper to America. Wait. That’s the film “Casablanca,” made during World War II. It’s fiction. Never mind. To read about my real-life visit to Lisbon, please follow the links below.
