Salta

This index page holds links to all of the travel journal entries I posted on my visit to Salta, Argentina. (Or, rather, will have posted because I created this index before going.)

If you’re like me before I started planning my Argentina trip, you might be saying to yourself, “Salta? I’ve never heard of it.” Or you might be less ignorant than I was and know all about it. I have no idea who’s going to read the page and what you do and don’t know.

When I planned my trip to Argentina, I looked at a couple of travel guides and picked the places I wanted to see. Salta didn’t make the cut. But when I tried to plot an itinerary, I found that there was no way to do it without at least one plane connection between two of my intended stops. One of those possible connections was in Salta. I looked at the travel guides again and it seemed interesting. So I added it to the itinerary.
