Tag: botanical garden

I like botanical gardens. They are pretty and calming. Some are spectacular. Needless to say, if I visit a botanical garden I try to tag the journal entry that describes it with the “botanical garden” tag.

But here’s the thing. I generally don’t use this tag for gardens in, for example, palace grounds, general-purpose parks, etc. If the garden doesn’t tag itself as a botanical garden, I usually don’t either.

I do, however, have a tag for those other gardens. It is, unsurprisingly, “gardens.’ Although, now that I think of it, the plural, “gardens,” rather than “gardens,” might be surprising to some sorts of anal nit-picky people. But, there you have it. I’m a surprising sort of guy. However, not necessarily in a positive way.

The point is, if you want to read about everything garden-related in my travels, look at that tag too.
