Ruins? Why would anyone want to take the time and spend the money to go see ruined stuff?
Because they are interesting old buildings or, rather, usually fragments of interesting old buildings from ancient cultures. That’s why. Sheesh. Do I have to explain everything to you people?
I do find them fascinating. And my joy of ancient things would grow each year if it weren’t for my extreme lack of self-esteem. It’s not always easy being a living ruin.
