A catacomb can be a macabre place. Particularly if the deceased are still there. Less so if they aren’t.

I have been to both, although I haven’t been to a remains-heavy catacomb since starting this travel journal. At least, not as of the time of me writing this tag description. And one had all of the earthly remains removed. So, if you came here specifically hoping to read something extraordinarily grotesque, you’ll probably be disappointed. Sorry.

Then again, maybe I visited a catacomb with lots of dead bodies still there since writing this. In which case, you’re welcome.

If you hate all things macabre, then please reverse the “sorry” and “you’re welcome” above.
