Tag: Nature Reserve

I generally save the “Nature Reserve” tag for places that self-identify as nature reserves. Some parks might de facto serve that purpose, but I typically won’t assign them that classification if they don’t attach it to their site.

Nor will I use it for nature that is reserved. For example, if you have to reserve a campsite, that doesn’t qualify.

Or if the wildlife in a park is reserved, that doesn’t qualify either. Quiet and standoffish squirrels, chipmunks, deer, raccoons, or other animals might be reserved, but that doesn’t make their home a nature reserve.

Okay. Enough inanity. Go explore any of my travel journal entries that are linked to here.
