Scotland Travel Journal

There one heck of a lot more to Scotland than just Scotch whisky. A lot more. Not that there is anything wrong with Scotch, you understand. But Scotland is a beautiful country.

Is it right to call it a country? I get so confused. If Scotland is a country, then what’s the United Kingdom? Or Great Britain, for that matter. I don’t want to weigh in on the possibility of the separation of Scotland from the UK. It’s none of my business, nor do I know enough about it. But it certainly would help to eliminate the confusion.

Anyway, enough about that. As of the time of the writing of this category description, I’ve visited both Edinburgh and Glasgow. By the time you read this maybe I’ll have visited other places in Scotland and posted entries on it here. Whatever, be sure to read them all because I’ll be insulted if you don’t. You wouldn’t want to insult me, would you? What? You would? Harumph.

This is a subcategory of “United Kingdom” and a sub-subcategory of “Europe.”
