Beautiful British Columbia. At one point, that was the slogan on the province’s licence plates. It may still be. I don’t know. I don’t pay much attention to license plate slogans. But it’s a well-deserved slogan.

You’d think that, because I’m Canadian, you’d find a lot of entries in the “Canada” category of this travel journal. However, at the time of writing of this category description, this is the only province represented here. I do the bulk of my traveling in Europe.

I should probably rectify that. There are many scenically gorgeous places in Canada. British Columbia has way more than it’s share.

My first trip during the COVID pandemic was to British Columbia. There were still a lot of travel restrictions for entering other countries and reentering Canada, but the restrictions on travel within Canada were lifted as long as you were vaccinated (obviously, I was; I’m not a complete fool, maybe just 75%, 80% tops) and masked appropriately (I did).

I should go back to this province sometime. Or maybe many sometimes. Did I mention it’s beautiful?
