February 2016 trip to Marseilles, Arles, Nice in France and Taormina in Sicily, Italy.

I wrote this trip index description in advance so I’d have it available to hang posts off of on this trip, hence the future tense below.
I will spend most of the trip in southern France. I’ll be staying in Marseille, Arles, and Nice, in that order. I may go on some day-trips to nearby cities and towns, but returning at night. I will journalize my time in southern France.
I’ll also be visiting some relatives who are spending a couple of winter months in Taormina, Italy. Because that is primarily to spend time with them, not to do touring, I don’t know if I’ll post anything about my time in Taormina as I write these words, still at home in Toronto.
